Meeting called to order by Jerry Griffin at 2:48 p.m.
Minutes of 13 December 2011 were approved.
Shareholder Reports
-As part of Community Development, Mr. Bonesteel made wreathes with pre-K
-Instruction request for Samson’s Classroom, a program with sight words, spelling, and reading
-SIC funds went to Mrs. Tower for Kimochi, feelings books with a matching stuffie
-PTO funded Christmas craft day
-Yearbook program is seeking funds
-Can the deadline for EWY be pushed back this year only?
-When will parents know their children’s school assignment?
-PBIS began a cafeteria reward chain
-MFT sponsored wreathe making with Mr. Bonesteel
-Academic
showcase planned for 15 February

-Non core areas to meet during Regents Week
-Regents review classes will meet during Regents Week
-Wall wisher program brought up-way of computer communication

-Met with elementary administrators to schedule specials for next year

-Elementary lines looked at in respect to neighborhoods, backgrounds, transportation and travel time
-Cachement Areas Map will be presented at 24 February BOE meeting
-1 March parent notification with a letter
-2 bubbles, current senior class and kindergarten
-There will be some shifting of resources and large purchases
-Saxon phonics refills to be ordered by grade level coordinators
-New web communications devices set up for grade level communication
-Holding off on employees’ children placement
